Tonight will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows near 40 degrees. Areas in far northern Minnesota will have light rain tonight into Sunday morning. Accumulations will be under a tenth of an inch.

Breezy conditions will persist through the weekend. Southeast winds will become southwesterly after midnight and then westerly on Sunday.

Sunday will be cloudy in the morning. Skies will clear midday for most of the area, but the Iron Range and areas north will stay cloudy. Temperatures in far northern Minnesota will only reach the low 40s while the rest of the Northland reaches the mid to upper 40s.  

We will have a break from the breezy conditions Sunday night through most of Monday. This week, a robust low-pressure system will move from Texas toward the Upper Midwest, bringing widespread precipitation.

The precipitation type will be rain Monday night into Tuesday. Depending on the track of this system, we could see snow mix in with the rain Tuesday night, Wednesday, and potentially Thursday. Strong winds will return Tuesday through Thursday, and the rest of the week will have highs in the 30s.

Rain. High near 44. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
