Don’t put your shovels away yet- we have more snow today and chances of additional rounds later this week.

Today will be cloudy with afternoon highs in the 20s. Winds will pick up speed, reaching 15-20 mph by the afternoon. We are almost done with this snow storm, but there will be a few lingering snow showers.

Most of the snow today will be close to the international border. Up to 4″ of accumulation is expected for areas stretching from Ely to International Falls. The Iron Range will likely have 2-3″ of snow while areas south get an inch or two.

Dry weather is in store for our Thursday, but we do have another chance of snow Friday night. That round will clear by Saturday afternoon and only bring an inch or two of snow to the Northland.

Easter Sunday will be dry with afternoon highs near 40 degrees. The Storm Track Weather Team is keeping an eye on another chance of snow late Sunday night into Monday. There is not much confidence in amounts for that round of snow at this point. More details will be known as it gets closer.

Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Breezy, with a west wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday

A 20 percent chance of snow after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Saturday

A slight chance of snow before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. Northeast wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
