Sabrina Ullman: Pleasant day ahead

After a chilly start to the day, today will warm to the 60s. It will be sunny with a southwest wind of 5-10 mph.

Skies will stay clear for most of the weekend, and the next few nights will be ideal for viewing Northern Lights. Tonight will be warmer than last night with overnight lows in the 40s.

Saturday will have increasing clouds and afternoon highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. A breezy south wind will have gusts as high as 30 mph. There is a chance of afternoon showers and possibly a thunderstorm, but accumulations will be mostly less than a tenth of an inch.

Temperatures will be cooler Sunday with highs in the 50s. We will gradually warm back to the upper 60s by next Friday. Dry, windy conditions will continue for the next week.
