Sabrina Ullman: Sunny skies and fall temperatures

September 22: Fall begins

Cooler temperatures coincide with the first day of fall.

Fall has officially begun, and Mother Nature took the hint. Today will be sunny with afternoon highs in the 60s. A northwest wind of 5-15 mph will continue through the day.

Clear skies will continue for at least a few days. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-60s to start the week and in the low 70s later this week. We might see an omega block pattern keep a high-pressure system over the upper Midwest at the end of the week, which would result in pleasant weather.
