Tonight will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows mostly in the 30s. There is a chance of light rain. We could see a few snowflakes mix-in between two and four in the morning. Portions of Cook County may have a small amount of ice accumulation, but the rest of the area will have minimal impacts from this system.

Dry weather will return by the end of rush hour on Monday morning. Monday will be the warmest day this week with afternoon highs in the 40s. There will also be a gusty west wind of 10-15 mph.

Between the warmth and the wind, snow melt will occur at a faster rate on Monday. We will continue to see the snowpack decrease as afternoon highs stay above freezing for the next few days.

There is a chance of snow on Tuesday evening with hardly any accumulation. There will be another chance of snow on Friday. Forecast models have been all over the place, but we could see widespread accumulation if conditions line up well.
