Additional snow and localized snow squalls are possible Wednesday
Widespread moderate snowfall ends this evening, with numerous snow showers persisting tonight into Wednesday night for east-central Minnesota. Northwesterly winds become westerly tonight and remain breezy into Wednesday for all the Northland. The combination of sporadic snow and windy conditions could lead to a few parts of the Northland seeing rapid developing snow squalls. The best chance will be Wednesday afternoon, some of which could cause a SUDDEN reduction in visibility. This may lead to “snow squall” conditions causing briefly dangerous travel conditions. – expect rapid changes in visibility possible if traveling Wednesday afternoon.
